Vincent Pisegna

Vincent Pisegna has more than forty years of experience as a commercial trial lawyer, trying more than 50 commercial cases to verdict.   He has been recruited to mediate business and real estate disputes especially involving commercial property development and management, land use, interests in bankruptcy, executive employment, intellectual property, probate interests, health care, and partnership and internal corporate disputes. 

Vince also has experience advising and managing matters involving professional ethics and malpractice. He was appointed by the Supreme Judicial Court to be the Vice-Chair, and then Chair, of the Massachusetts Board of Bar Overseers (BBO) from 2015 through 2018. The BBO licenses, regulates and disciplines the over 60,000 lawyers in Massachusetts.

Vince has published numerous articles and been extensively quoted in trade publications including Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly. He is the co-author of The Litigators’ Blog, a blog for litigators or anyone seriously interested in the latest developments in the field of litigation.

Vince served as a town meeting member in his home town of Lexington, Massachusetts; he founded The Kids Fund, Inc., a non-profit organization supporting pediatric patients at Boston Medical Center. He is also a member of a number of boards including the Board of Directors of Greater Boston Legal Services and the Lake Morey Foundation. In 2014, Vince was awarded the Boston Bar Association President’s Award for providing pro bono assistance to victims and small business owners affected by the 2013 Boston Marathon bombing.

Vince is a summa cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa, graduate of St. Lawrence University, and a graduate of Northeastern University School of Law. He was a law clerk to the Honorable Howard G. Munson of the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York.
